Give a brief info about your startup?
Enzo League is a personal styling platform for men catering to their styling & grooming needs that help them to dress as per their body type, complexion, weather & the occasions. It also helps them to get the right hair & beard style, framed glasses & sunglasses as per their face type.
We help normal urban men save a lot of time & money on their shopping. While they focus only on wearing, leaving what and how to wear to us.
What made you start your startup and what problem does it solve?
I have always felt that your external presentation wins half of the deals both in personal & professional life, be it your next big break, salary hikes or winning a date with a girl. Also, I saw a lot of men around me having no sense of what to buy and wear which will look good on them. They feel desperate and really need help from somebody who can remove their day-to-day woes. After coming back to India I felt there is a big gap in terms of what is available in the market and what is really needed to make them feel confident.
Tell us about yourself, your previous jobs/ventures? What were you doing before this startup?
I have been into Security Consulting for more than 10 years before jumping on to this idea. I call myself an adventurer who likes to try new things and not afraid to take risks. Already done all kinds of crazy shit be it jumping from the mountains or riding an aeroplane.
Before this, I was working with Accenture Australia as a Security Architect.
Where is your startup based out of? Why do you think that is the best place for you?
We are based out of Bangalore. It’s the best place for us at the moment as we have all kinds of corporate going people who really want to look good & feel confident about their personality. Also, the city offers a very diverse crowd which is very broadminded to try new things compared to other cities.
As a startup founder, what are you paranoid about? What keeps you awake at night?
I’m really paranoid about customer experience and the quality. As of now, what will be our next step & the strategy keeps me awake at night.
Who are your competitions and how are you better than them?
We don’t have any specific competitors but yes there are few who are directly or indirectly can be our competitors.
We have a unique proposition than our competitors as we cover the entire lifecycle of an individual needs right from styling be it readymade garments or customized stitching till the grooming needs like hairstyle or beard style.
How hard is it to have a work-life balance as a startup founder and how do you manage it?
Well, I won’t complain about it as I chose this life. But, I manage & find time to watch a few Netflix series & also spend some time in the gym.
Have you raised funding? If yes, then we would like to know the details. If no then please tell us if you are looking to raise.
No, we haven’t raised funding as of now but are actively looking for angel funding.
What’s the biggest misconception people have about you? Why do they have that? What’s the reality?
People think I am very rude at times. But, the truth is completely the opposite. I’m a very straight-forward person and tell the truth on their face purely out of concern instead of being diplomatic.
What gets you excited about this company?
The idea to connect with a lot of people every day that comes with their unique set of problems and their smiling faces once we are able to solve at least 1% of it.
Tell us how a day in your life looks like? Your schedule for a day right from the time you get up till you hit the bed at night.
I sleep between 2-3 am, get up at 9.30 am. Work from 9.30am-5.30pm. Gym from 6-8 pm. Take a break and watch few episodes of a Netflix series and work again from 11.30 pm till I feel sleepy.
Tell us about your team and how did you meet each other?
We have a very small team as of now with few full-time stylists, freelance stylist and interns. I was looking to start this venture during that time I was introduced to a few stylists. They already worked with a few of the start-ups. So, therefore we had synergy since the start & our visions were completely aligned.
