Meet Sudip Shetty, a professional tarot card reader from Bangalore

Many individuals, men and women go through a period in their life when they feel as if they lack direction, in order to flame their aspirations and keep them alive. Sometimes, indeed one feels that with so much information swimming around our world today, it ought to be easier than ever before, in order to find and be aware of the information we need to know what to do, but seldom its the case. More often than not, we feel overwhelmed and sometimes, downright anxious, a nagging sense of helplessness, self-sabotaging oneself by saying they may possess the right talent or resources or any other reason that they think stops them from getting ahead in their lives, whatever their objective may be. 

In times of untold change and complexity, what is one supposed to do? 

Deep, deep in our hearts we think we already know what to do, yet we tend to think that more money could solve all our problems, or maybe a superior intelligence would, or maybe hard work would solve all our problems and that probably we’re too lazy to accomplish our dreams. Yet, in spite of doing everything, we must go on and persevere and continue finding the sparks that can flame our aspirations without losing hope. We must. We must hope, for without hope, there is nothing. And when there is nothing, we must make something. 

Today, at Bangalore Insider we spoke to Mr. Sudip Shetty, a professional tarot card reader from Bangalore, who left us fascinated with his story of helping individuals with their personal and professional lives through a blend of advice, direction and guidance based on tarot cards. Tarot Card Reading Profile:

Sudip Shetty is a Tarot Card Professional based in Bangalore who has been doing the tarot card reading for his clients for more than 10 years now. He is trained in Indian Vedic Astrology and uses a blend of traditional Indian technique and Western technique for his clients. 

He is a Life coach and Mentor for his clients and what makes him unique is that he doesn’t claim to predict people’s future but he guides and shows the path for his clients.

He is also a numerologist who gives names to new born children and new businesses based on numerology.

His clients covers a wide range of people like extended ruling Royal family of a Middle east country, Kannada and Telugu TV serial actresses, PR firms managing Indian international cricketers, software professionals, IT consultants, IAS and UPSC aspirants, top class real estate builders, start-up entrepreneurs etc.

Being an ex-Corporate person and a Management Professional and Teaching faculty he is a multitasker and takes a multi-dimensional approach when he advises and guides his clients.

He successfully has done Marketing plans and Business plans based on his traditional wisdom combined with Management experience and teaching experience for MBA students.

What made you start your startup and what problem does it solve?

Current Indian youth are very dynamic in nature but what misses with them is the calculated risk which they are supposed to take. My venture assists today’s youth by giving them a step by step guidance. We also cater to all the needs of peoples lives be it personal or professional or business.

Tell us about yourself, your previous jobs/ventures? What were you doing before this startup?

I started my professional career way back in 2001 immediately after my graduation. I offered my services to one of the leading stock brokers in India. Later I worked for 2 top telecom services company viz Tata tele services and Airtel for combined years of 8 years. After that I completed my regular MBA from the UK and moved back to India in 2013. My second innings in India started with working for Amazon for about 2 years. Currently for the past two years I am also working for B School as a marketing faculty.

Where is your startup based out of? Why do you think that is the best place for you?

We are based out from Bangalore and the multicultural and cosmopolitan nature of the city is what prompted to start from this city

As a startup founder, what are you paranoid about? What keeps you awake at night?

Offering the best solution to our customers and making customization is what keeps me awake at night.

Who are your competitors and how are you better than them?

Since the segment we work is a work from home segment there are competitors but our high value services at affordable price is what makes us better from others.

How hard is it to have a work-life balance as a startup founder and how do you manage it?

Once you start enjoying the work there will be a work life balance.

Have you raised funding? If yes, then we would like to know the details. If no then please tell us if you are looking to raise.

Since we are a work from home and consulting services we dont require a huge amount of funds and hence we have not done any funding.

What’s the biggest misconception people have about you? Why do they have that? What’s the reality?

People think that we are some kind of future predicting services but actually we are not that instead we offer counselling services, make business plans and guide individual clients, professional and corporate clients.

What gets you excited about this company?

Good reviews, customer delight and making a long term impact in people’s lives is what excites me.

Tell us how a day in your life looks like? Your schedule for a day right from the time you get up till you hit the bed at night.

I am an early riser and typically my day starts at 5.00 in the morning. Then I do a little bit of meditation and exercise and start the day with a light breakfast. Normal days end at 7.00 in the evening and my bedtime is 10.00.

Tell us about your team and how did you meet each other?

Currently, this venture is a one-man army and one-man mission company. Hopefully, with the grace of Almighty and a good customer base, we will be planning to expand our services.
