Call me a multi talented woman. Actor, dancer, model and a social media influencer.
Yes! I am described as a passionate hardworking girl who loves being perfect in what she does. I love influencing people by my work, and I must say I do influence a lot of people.
Over time, as I gained a lot of followers, I wanted to use it in a right way and wanted to explore it in different fields. That is when the whole idea of being an influencer came to me. When I got to know that I influenced a lot of people, I decided to get into this industry.
How do you decide if you would like to work with a brand or not?
Based on the brand, concept, and based on what my audience likes and of course the commercials.

Tell us a bit about yourself? How did you get into this industry?
Well, I was studying my first year of engineering when I got a modelling offer. One led to another and before I knew it, I was into movies! But I was only allowed to work during my semester holidays till I became a full time actor 🙂
How do you decide if you would like to work with a brand or not?
I do my research and make sure that I am associated with something I believe in and something with a bit of humane touch to it.

I am Aparna Thomas. I started as a TV host and media person 6 years back. I’ve worked as full time Television Anchor in South India’s biggest network SUN (Malayalam). Then I took a break and worked as a cabin crew for Qatar Airways and was living in Doha for 3 and a half years while travelling the world. Along with my Job as a stewardess I was still doing collabs and was trying my best to find time to entertain my audience by engaging with them on my social media. I’ve always loved being a public figure, not for the fame and money but because I could make an impact in people’s lives in different aspects.
How do you decide if you would like to work with a brand or not?
It always gives me excitement to work with new brands. I personally take it as an opportunity to know more about its products and mainly the brand itself. I’ve always had good experiences working with different brands. To use a product and later introduce it to others by having complete knowledge about it always makes me proud and happy.

How do you decide if you would like to work with a brand or not?
I decide by looking at their brand image, contents or quality of their products. I also take into consideration on how it would benefit my audience, do I personally relate and use or could use the brand

Tell us a bit about yourself? How did you get into this industry?
I’m a Bangalore based fashion and fitness blogger/influencer. Well, I have been trained as an engineer and MBA, was a part of the corporate scenario for a while, however, found my true calling in this world.
I believe that fashion and fitness is a part of your lifestyle and it should be accessible, uncomplicated and shouldn’t burn a hole in your pocket. Through multiple platforms, I try to motivate my followers to lead a healthy and sustainable life.
How do you decide if you would like to work with a brand or not?
- I should have some belief in a brand or product.
- New brands should have the USP with which I can connect.
- I always believe in supporting small businesses.
- The brand should recognise my worth.

Tell us a bit about yourself? How did you get into this industry?
I am a dentist and was always on the lookout for a creative outlet. I was very much interested in fashion and beauty. What trends were in the market, which skincare brands worked for which skin type … I always had an answer to these questions and my friends would come to me with their fashion and beauty queries. Once I was acting as a personal shopper to my friend when she told me that I should start blogging and share my knowledge with a wider audience. We set up an Instagram account for me right there and that is how it all got started.
How do you decide if you would like to work with a brand or not?
I have a few questions that I ask myself before signing any contract or saying yes to any brand. They are – will I spend this much money out of my pocket for this particular brand, will my audience be able to relate to this brand, are these styles accessible and does the brand do enough to give back to society? If the brand ticks all these questions I agree to work with the brand. I would never endorse a brand I don’t believe in because I don’t want my audience to spend their money on something that doesn’t work for them. I also like working with small home grown businesses.

Tell us a bit about yourself? How did you get into this industry?
While working at my 9-5 job as an engineer, I was always keen on creating a space to share my love for fashion. When I started Instagramming in 2014, my idea was to share my view “You should dress how you want to feel”. I made an effort to speak and do positive things on my page. This led me to where I am today. I love creating content for my audience. Learning and finding new ways to indulge with fashion.
How do you decide if you would like to work with a brand or not?
My main criteria is to work with brands that are authentic and deliver the best products to the customers. I also consider what my audience prefers.

Honestly I never planned to be an influencer. It was pretty spontaneous, I joined Instagram when it first launched. I used to post content that kept people engaged and yes, it included a lot of humour, food, pets, rescues and me just being me. So yes that worked and here I am using my Instagram account to influence people mainly regarding animal welfare since I’m also an animal rescuer.
How do you decide if you would like to work with a brand or not?
Based on their reviews and the product they have to offer to people.
