Bengaluru has beaten the famed Silicon Valley to emerge as the most Dynamic city in the world in Jones Lang LaSalle’s fourth annual City Momentum Index of cities. The second place went to Ho Chi Minh city of Vietnam and the third place was bagged by Silicon Valley.
The index covered 134 cities around the world and was based on the rate of change of speed of the economy of a city and its commercial real estate.
The other top cities in the list comprised of Shanghai, Hyderabad, London, Austin, Hanoi, Boston and Nairobi.
“Most dynamic cities share the ability to embrace technological change, absorb rapid population growth and strengthen global connectivity. Cities in India, China and Vietnam, along with several in the U.S., head the list of the world’s fastest changing cities,” said a press release by Jones Lang LaSalle.
It is a matter of great pride and honor for Bangalore to bag the top slot ahead of Silicon Valley, Shanghai and the rest specially after all the negative reviews the city received in the aftermath of the molestation case in new year’s eve.
