Bengaluru Gets a Taste of F1 Through IWC Schaffhausen’s Racing Simulator

Bengaluru recently played host to a slice of the Formula 1 world as IWC Schaffhausen brought its global #IWCRacing Formula 1 Simulator experience to the city. The exclusive pop-up, held at Mall of Asia on Bellary Road in collaboration with Ethos, offered visitors an immersive look into the high-octane universe of motorsport and precision watchmaking.

Following its India debut in Mumbai, the Bengaluru leg became part of IWC’s multi-city showcase, allowing watch enthusiasts and motorsport fans to engage with the brand’s racing-inspired philosophy. The activation is also set to travel to New Delhi in January 2026, extending the experience to audiences across the country.

An Immersive Racing-Led Showcase

Set up outside the IWC boutique at Mall of Asia, the pop-up was anchored by a high-performance Formula 1 simulator, which placed visitors in the driver’s seat. Designed as an interactive #IWCRacing experience, the simulator challenged participants to test their reflexes, precision, and speed — mirroring the intensity of real-world Formula 1 racing.

The installation offered more than just a gaming experience. It provided insight into IWC Schaffhausen’s longstanding association with motorsport, where engineering excellence, split-second precision, and performance under pressure are shared values.

Spotlight on IWC’s Pilot’s Watches

Complementing the simulator was a curated display of IWC’s Pilot’s Watches, known for their robust design, legibility, and technical sophistication. Timepieces showcased during the activation included the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Edition Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team, the Pilot’s Watch Mark XX Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team, the Pilot’s Watch Performance Chronograph 41, and the APXGP chronograph and automatic models.

Together, the watches reinforced IWC’s deep-rooted ties with motorsport and its continued collaboration with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team.

Blending Engineering, Performance and Design

Designed by IWC Schaffhausen, the pop-up was conceived as a multisensory experience that brought together racing culture and luxury watchmaking. From the simulator to the watch displays, the activation reflected the brand’s emphasis on engineering innovation, functional design, and performance-led aesthetics.
