We got an opportunity to talk with Neeraj, the founder of the CartNYou. Read his inspiring story to know about the mission and vision of the organisation.
Give a brief info about your startup?
CartNYou is a platform which helps in facilitating the customers, by offering addictive prices and Sellers by giving an aura to expand their reach to the maximum level. offering a comfortable platform to them.
What made you start your startup and what problem does it solve?
Technically speaking, I have planned a new model of BLACK n WHITE E-commerce marketplace especially for the SELLERS. Ecommerce being most sort out industry in current scenario of economic upscaling.Again,I also feel that every human is a manifestation of immense abilities and I partake this as an opportunity to change the lives of the millions by creating a platform, which is value for money and also revenue generating for all.
Tell us about yourself, your previous jobs/ventures? What were you doing before this startup?
Regarding my background, I initially joined my family business, after completion of my studies majoring in Economics Honours, which provided me ground to create and generate higher revenue based business models. After carefully articulating the business, I migrated to China for further knowledge and business prospects, and their I joined family business of Importing electronic goods. If I speak about about our offices,we have two offices in Guangzhou and Shenzhen (both located in China).
Though, being an Indian at heart and soul,I always feel that our prestigious nation should be at the acumen of the development in technological and scientific field.
In this advent, we have started to import of the various electronic products from China,which gave have a scope of giving people a great push for exploring the Chinese Items i.e. B2B channels, it was gradually developing into the online portal as B2C is also new wave in India,which is sweeping whole nation.
Where is your startup based out of? Why do you think that is the best place for you?
Being born in New Delhi, my startup is based in Delhi and I feel, Delhi is the mosaic of all the sellers, products and also any new addition to any industry related with E-Commerce, electronics and all the latest addition in the world of fashion and technology.
As a startup founder, what are you paranoid about? What keeps you awake at night?
As a founder, I am paranoid about the diminishing B2B industry and uprise of the DIGITAL MARKET (B2C) segment. One has to be well versed, with the latest technology and I also read all latest articles on current affairs and economics, to keep myself updated.
I begin my day with a cup of Tea and Economic Times. Being Passionate of changing the Style of E-Commerce keeps me awake and being a Follower of APJ Sir, i strongly adhere to his saying,
“Dream is not that you see in sleep, dream is something that doesn’t let you sleep.”
The reason according to the best of my knowledge is that if there will be the Hunger for my Goal.So, I am awake as I have the reason for it. The reason which keeps me awake during night is that I am constantly striving for success and not to stop till your goal is achieved.
Who are your competitions and how are you better than them?
I consider all the leading e-commerce company as my competitors and I am better than them, as I am proffering better services (sales and aftersales), costing services and most importantly value for money.
How hard is it to have a work-life balance as a startup founder and how do you manage it?
It was quite resilient initially , as I had to work on the various flaws both organisational and on the personal front. After this process,I was able to maintain the work-life balance. Then I always intelligently allocate my time for the work and other important aspects of life. In the end, I try to maintain a healthy balance between both fortunately.

No, we are self-funded.
What’s the biggest misconception people have about you? Why do they have that? What’s the reality?
Anger is the biggest evil in this world, and I firmly believe in this line. Being an entrepreneur, I feel you need to maintain your cool. Managing anger is a tedious task and that’s the reason why a recent follower of Yoga and Meditation.
People think that I have anger issues but in reality, that is the misconception about me. I am fun loving, happy go lucky guy.
But one of my ideology is that “ If you want to make everyone happy, then start selling ice cream”
I also firmly believe in saying of Abdul Kalam “If you want to shine like a sun, you must burn like a sun”
So, business is my precedence.
What gets you excited about this company?
Everyone is excited to have a new venture, so is me. I am enthusiastic to provide a resolution to both customers and sellers. The pricing is addictive for the customers and platform is like a bean bag for the sellers. I am providing comfort zone for all.To manage all the things diligently, is my responsibility.
Tell us how a day in your life looks like? Your schedule for a day right from the time you get up till you hit the bed at night.
If I speak about my routine, it starts @ 8. I wake up at 8 and I do Yoga & Meditation, for about an hour time. It recharges my system and after this, I prefer to spend time with my dad. Having a cup of tea with my father, as I feel it is essential for amplification of your inner strength. Also I quickly read some of the headliners and inside scoops of the Economic Times and grabbing breakfast as I can’t miss on that. I always believe that healthy breakfast is key for a great day as it controls mind and body.
Then after a wholesome breakfast, I get decked up for an adventurous day at work. My work is my passion and I am totally addicted to it and I also treat it as an adventure. After a busy schedule at office,I come back at 8:30 pm , I relax at home in the evening after a hearty dinner and gear up for a peaceful sleep after a stroll, meticulously waiting for the next adventurous day at work.
Tell us about your team and how did you meet each other?
I won’t call it a team, rather I will call it my family. So, in the family, you look after & upon each other and helps to work in the progression of each other. In this way, we are also building I met them through my network of friends and then they join with us.
I believe “ Whatever your decision is, it must be right for business” . So, my team is my strength and my foundation of success.
