Give a brief info about your startup?

My Biz Catalyst is a new age marketing consultancy with Data-Research-Analysis-Automation-Execution centric approach which results in the increased sales pipeline and customer outreach.

With years of experience in the marketing arena, we have worked with more than 30 revered companies successfully accelerating their sales and business. We, at MBC, use two approaches – Customer Targeting and Pay Per Lead model to help you reach new customers. We are launching our platform in coming month for lead generation.

My Lead Catalyst, an automated and Integrated LaaS (Lead-as-a-Service) Scalable Platform Build with Prospect Database, Complete Marketing Automation, Analytics, Reporting, CRM integration & Sales Pipeline Creation.

What made you start your startup and what problem does it solve?

MBC:

Strong understanding of integrated business intelligence solution with the industry-client centric approach, we have an urge to provide world-class business solutions to Tier-2 companies as we understand how important the cost-budget-growth is.

MBC believes in making an impeccable impact on customers through its Performance-Marketing Solutions – Lead Generation and Target Marketing through My Lead Catalyst, an Automated Lead Generation Platform to Generate Revenue Through Sales Qualified Leads.

 

Tell us about yourself, your previous jobs/ventures? What were you doing before this startup?

MBC: I have over 11+ years of Business Development, Strategic Alliances and Investment Banking experience to MyBizCatalyst after having successfully established and managed one-stop solution for marketing consulting at several global IT & Financial consulting firms (Future First, OSTC, HCL, Qtel). I have completed my B.E. from IET and then I entered IMT to learn more about marketing concepts. Currently, I am pursuing strategic management executive course from IIM Kozhikode.

Recognized within the entrepreneur’s community as a thought leader who designs and delivers innovative marketing solutions. I have an ability to bring transformation and simplicity together in marketing solutions so customers can get business value much faster.

 

Where is your startup based out of? Why do you think that is the best place for you?

MBC: We are based out of Jaipur. This city gave us an added advantage as it lowered all the costs, including the salary packages, logistics, rental, etc. All this contributed to the low cash burn, which is essential for an early-stage startup.

 

As a startup founder, what are you paranoid about? What keeps you awake at night?

MBC: Establishing a network of highly automated business and marketing intelligence tools, educating customers about result-oriented marketing strategies, sensitizing customer experience and committed delivery through our highly experienced team.

 

Who are your competitions and how are you better than them?

MBC:  Some of our competitors are Iron paper, Channel Play, Machwan, Peace Infotech and Cience that work on one and two automation tools, but no one is working on all four-automation pillar like us.

How hard is it to have a work life balance as a startup founder and how do you manage it?

MBC:

I am “on” 24×7 even when I am at home. I am on even when I am on vacation or a business trip. That’s just part of the bargain I strike.

I had vacations cut short regularly. It sucks to wave goodbye to your wife and daughter as they depart for the week and you are working. But that’s just part of the bargain.

There were also times when I was essentially working 9-12. I was able to get home early and see my daughter dancing and playing. There were many times like that, but, even then, I was still always on.

 

Have you raised funding? If yes, then we would like to know the details. If no then please tell us if you are looking to raise.

MBC:  No, we haven’t raised funding yet, but we are looking to raise seed funding. To Scale-up the operations and to serve hundreds of users, we are building an automated lead generation platform. MyLeadCatalyst (MLC) an Integrated LaaS Scalable Platform Build with Prospect Database, Complete Marketing Automation, Analytics, Reporting, CRM integration & Sales Pipeline Creation.

 

What’s the biggest misconception people have about you? Why do they have that? What’s the reality?

MBC:

One thing we’ve heard repeatedly in our interview series is the idea that one thing is required, or this tactic is always necessary. When we talk about marketing and content marketing, so often marketers are expected to create content because “that’s what marketing is.” But a lot of experts say that this is a harmful perception.

Jennifer Zick, founder of Authentic Brands, says, “the most overrated approach is that there’s a one-size-fits-all solution. Business leaders are inundated with the message that they need to do this certain thing or be on that channel. And that’s just not true.” Effective marketing, she adds, begins at a much more foundational level.

 

What gets you excited about this company?

MBC: To Scale-up the operations and to serve hundreds of users through My Lead Catalyst (MLC) an Integrated LaaS Scalable Platform Build with Prospect Database, Complete Marketing Automation, Analytics, Reporting, CRM integration & Sales Pipeline Creation is a solution one of its own kind.

 

Tell us how a day in your life looks like? Your schedule for a day right from the time you get up till you hit the bed at night.

MBC:  I typically wake up between 07-07:30am and will grab a quick glass of water and a small snack before heading to the gym for a short thirty-minute circuit workout. After that I will come home, spend half an hour with my daughter, playing and dancing with her. Then I take shower, and head to the computer for work. Yes, I schedule for a day right from the time I get up till I hit the bed.

 

Tell us about your team and how did you meet each other?

MBC:

In my last position, I was working as GM – Marketing and Business Development. We all worked together to plan and manage the implementation, to provide training, and to ensure a smooth transition for our strategy. Our team always completed projects ahead of schedule. Our ability to communicate effectively was what made us such a good team. People expressed concerns clearly and openly, so we resolved issues as soon as they arose. Three of us started our journey from there and then more people joined us in between. My team is young, dedicated, and enthusiastic to achieve little success every day.
